Videoland has announced the new drama series Rippers. The series is based on an idea by Marouane Meftah and Oussama Ahammoud and is produced by Fiction Valley. This explosive heist drama dives deep into the shadowy underworld of Eindhoven. It tells the story of three Davids, two Goliaths, and one night to take down the big players. Rather than focusing on established drug lords, the series follows three young underdogs who, driven by greed, set out to execute a life threatening plan. Rippers will soon be available to stream on Videoland.
A quiet night at an underground opium plantation in Eindhoven erupts into a brutal robbery, igniting a ruthless war between rival crews. At the center of the chaos are three young street hustlers. On the surface, they appear to be the weakest link, but appearances can be deceiving. Behind the scenes, they are the ones pulling the strings, playing a dangerous game in which no one is safe and determined to walk away with the prize themselves.
They have one night to pull it off. Fast, hard and without mercy. In a world ruled by money and power, where loyalty means nothing and betrayal lurks around every corner, one wrong move can be fatal. The only way to survive is to stay one step ahead and outsmart the competition.
Cast
The lead roles in this crime drama are portrayed by a standout cast within the genre, including Marouane Meftah (Mocro Maffia, De Tatta’s), Ahlaam Teghadouini (Sihame, Roomies) and Bilal Wahib (Mocro Maffia, De Libi). They play three underdogs who completely disrupt the street hierarchy.
