This month the recordings of a new Dutch Netflix film started. The film is directed by Shady El-Hamus and produced by Fiction Valley. The cast consists of Shahine El-Hamus, Sabri Saad El-Hamus, Minne Koole, Isabelle Kafando, Manoushka Zeegelaar Breeveld, Leny Breederveld, Raymond Thiry, Loes Schnepper, Jonas Smulders, Kendrick Etmon, Tobias Kersloot and Yari van der Linden.
About the movie:
Amir (Shahine El-Hamus) reluctantly tries to save his father Omar's (Sabri El-Hamus) family restaurant in East Amsterdam. When he resigns due to a family dispute, he starts working for a young and successful crypto entrepreneur, Roy (Minne Koole), who drags him into his world with all its consequences.
Shady El-Hamus: "It's great to regain the confidence to make a Netflix movie after a successful collaboration. It makes my third feature film a long-held wish come true - to tell a father/son story in which my father and brother play the leading roles. A special project that we are working on with great pleasure and that we will be very happy to share with a large audience."
