Trailer Videoland Original Sleepers: “The underworld is full of barbs, once in, never out”

Watch the trailer of the blood-curdling crime series 'Sleepers' here. The new six-part series can be seen in its entirety at Videoland from Thursday 8 December. The series will also have a 'Videoland premiere' on RTL 4: the first two episodes will be shown on RTL 4 on December 8 at 8:30 PM.

'Sleepers' tells the tough story of corrupt agent Martin (Robert de Hoog) who maneuvers between the underworld of Utrecht and the upper world of the criminal investigation department. While his best friend Willem (Teun Kuilboer) and newcomer Dwight (Julmar Simons a.k.a. rapper Adje) increasingly draw Martin to the underworld, Martin has to keep a mask on his wife Noura Oudkerk (Maryam Hassouni) who is herself a skilled detective in internal affairs of the Utrecht police.

'Sleepers' is inspired by the rumor that criminal organizations sent young people to the police academy to infiltrate the police. These young infiltrators are called sleepers. Martin Oudkerk is one of them.

The fictional series is written by Simon de Waal and Robert de Hoog. The latter is also the Creative Producer of the series. Direction is in the hands of Max Porcelijn and Aaron van Valen. Fiction Valley is responsible for production.
