Watch the trailer for the new series ‘Tonnano’

It won't be long before the ruthless battle breaks out in the Achterhoek between Mocro Mafia's fan favorite Tonnano and the Eysinck family. In the new Videoland Original series of the same name, Tonnano swaps the city for the rugged countryside. The actors playing the Eysinck family were announced earlier, and today the other new cast members are being revealed. Stefan de Walle, Asma El Mouden, Önder Doğan (Murda), Mimoun Ouled Radi, Anas Derow, Ciraj Amalal, Martijn van Eijzeren (Stuntkabouter), and Mustafa Duygulu are among those joining the cast. Familiar faces from the Mocro Maffia franchise are also returning, including Romée Polanen, Jordy Samuel, Mads Wittermans, and Sky Lemmer. Tonnano will be available to stream daily on Videoland starting Monday, September 22. The Achterhoek will never be the same again.

Synopsis
After Ashraf's death and Samira's conviction, Tonnano finds himself surrounded by enemies in Amsterdam. With the birth of his son, Tonnano decides to turn over a new leaf. He wants to build an honest life where Amani, the mother of his baby, and her family live: the Achterhoek region. However, his arrival causes unrest among the notorious Eysinck drug family, who have been running the region for years. When Badr, Amani's uncle, turns out to owe debts to this family, putting Tonnano's new life in danger, blood is thicker than water. Tonnano takes on the notorious family. Who will be the new boss of the Achterhoek? 

Tonnano consists of six episodes and will be available to stream daily on Videoland from Monday, September 22, with two episodes on the first day. The series is produced by Fiction Valley and directed by Achmed Akkabi, Safi Graauw, and Sergej Groenhart. The screenplays are written by Sergej Groenhart, Mustafa Duygulu, Yücel Kopal, Randy Oost, Randa Peters, and Kevin Boitelle.
